Photo Blocker Spray
Some spam can be good. At least one that I got last week was amusing. The email was advertising a spray which when applied to license plates can keep some traffic cameras from getting a decent picture of your number.
I opened up a browser window and did a search on the product's name "Photo Blocker Spray" (of course, I didn't click on the link in the newsletter because only newbies are foolish enough to think that's safe...) And sure enough, the product exists. For $29.95, you buy a bottle of spray that causes light to bounce off your license plate causing it to be overexposed in any picture taken by a conventional traffic camera.
Polie note that the spray is illegal. But apparently sales are booming...
